Located on the outskirts of Bengaluru along Kanakapura Road, Urban Escape unfolds across a 6-acre site in a rapidly developing yet serene pocket of the city. Well connected by major roads and the NICE Ring Road, the site offers accessibility without compromising its tranquil, agrarian character.
Surrounded by a rich tapestry of native and cultivated trees—including coconut, mango, neem, teak, jackfruit, sandalwood, silver oak, sapota, tamarind, guava, pongamia, and acacia—the landscape forms the foundation of the design approach. Dense vegetation, existing vehicular pathways, a cow shed, and an old house lend the site a layered identity shaped by time and use.
Urban Escape is envisioned as a retreat within the city’s expanding edge—a space that preserves its ecological richness while thoughtfully integrating built interventions. The design embraces the existing green cover, weaving architecture gently into the natural setting to create a seamless dialogue between rural calm and urban connectivity.
