Ayana

Sculpting spaces for celebration and gatherings, Ayana is derived from ideas of adaptability. Offering frameworks for various events, the one-acre property is tucked in the quaint boundaries of Bangalore. The linearity of the rectangular plot is further accentuated by the arrangement of spaces and user movement, with a strong central axis.

Advancing from the parking zone is the entrance plaza with an arched plaza that commences at the farmhouse on the opposite end. Flanked on the North East side of the main entrance is a small shrine. With three distinctive spaces to host – the pavilion, outdoor pool and farmhouse – each venue offers striking backdrops. The grandiose of the pavilion structure immediately seizes the user with its intertwining archways and transparent glass roof. All venues cater to an internal focal point in response to the surrounding context. On the opposite side of the pavilion is an outdoor pool that infuses opportunities of serenity and makes for a striking setting. The central aisle leads to the main farmhouse, which is held aloft by 7.5m archways and an expansive sloping tiled roof.

At ground level, the large expanse of the farmhouse features stepped seating, central dining and an island kitchen separated by a central staircase. The central staircase doubles up as the main stage against a rubble stone wall as a backdrop. The first floor on either side of the main staircase houses private rooms for the residing guests. Sweeping vistas and wide open spaces, Ayana exudes architecture that is tailored for versatile celebrations and experiences.
